About The Company

Atomera Incorporated is a semiconductor materials and intellectual property licensing company focused on deploying its proprietary technology into the $550+ billion semiconductor industry. We have developed Mears Silicon TechnologyTM (MST®), which increases performance and power efficiency in semiconductor transistors. MST can be implemented using epitaxial equipment already deployed in semiconductor manufacturing facilities and is complementary to other nano-scaling technologies in the semiconductor industry roadmap.

This means the mobile phone will have longer battery life, IoT devices can be made smaller, and data center servers will become even more powerful.

About the role

You will have a critical role in ensuring that Atomera’s technologies are successfully delivered and deployed by customers, and you will help manage the internal development of new product technologies.  This is an ideal role for a seasoned technologist who is interested in making the transition to a customer-facing marketing or business development role.

  • Understand market and customer demands to define the business goals of each product development, and work with engineering to be sure technology developments are constantly moving to achieve those goals. Evaluate the trade-offs between customer requirements and internal product development objectives.
  • Work with Atomera Engineering and other groups to ensure that Atomera delivers items specified in the Statements of Work (SOWs) for each customer; works with the customer and Atomera groups to modify and ratify an SOW when appropriate; and establishes regular and effective communications with each customer.
  • Work internally with all Atomera groups to track and coordinate the development of new products within Atomera.
Innovation is a focus of Atomera. It is recognized that individuals have skills and ideas beyond today’s focus and will work on innovative ideas in methods, devices, and materials.

  • ≥2 years of experience managing semiconductor programs
  • BS or higher degree in EE or Materials Science, MBA preferred
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of each month
  • Experience in transferring semiconductor processes to a third party is highly desired, but not mandatory
  • Good understanding of semiconductor device physics and optimization methods
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; ability to communicate in Korean or Mandarin a strong plus
